Rick started Alcala CM Inc. in 2007. He has over 35 years of experience in the Senior Living, Commercial, Hospitality, Health Care, and Residential industries and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He worked in the general contracting industry as a manager of staff, projects, and contractors, and was directly responsible for profitability and oversight of over $500 million of property. He currently oversees and participates in represention of lenders, owners, developers and facilities managers in their construction and acquisition needs, and has consulted on over $1.5 Billion of Senior Living Facilities, including For-Profit and Not-For-Profit properties. Professional experience includes leadership and consulting in the construction-related industry. Rick believes in taking “Ownership” of every project, and provides Leadership in a Pro-Active, Team Work environment.
Ken has over 20 years of experience in the Residential, Commercial, Senior Living, and Environmental industries. He is a Certified Environmentalist and a Certified General Contractor (Florida). His education includes a Masters of Science in Construction Engineering and Management, with Emphasis on Sustainable Development. Ken has been involved in commercial and residential water intrusion and microbial investigations, and remediation construction defect scenarios. He has also been a Project Superintendent and Project Manager on several commercial and residential projects. Professional experience includes Building Science Environmental Services, LLC, The Bechtel Group, Inc., Perini Building Company, Inc., Centex Rooney Construction Company, and Coastal Construction Company.
Pete has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He recently worked for a nationally acclaimed, multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm, specializing in Construction and Program Management, Quality Control Inspections, CPM Scheduling, Cost Estimating and Problem Solving. Pete has his Engineering in Training License from the State of Virginia, and graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He is a Certified Weld Inspector, and has provided Facility Assessment Analysis and Owner Representation Services on various projects in the Senior Living, Commercial and Industrial industries in Virginia, Florida, and Wisconsin. Professional experience includes Yurick Construction Management, Inc., McDonough Bolyard Peck, and the United States Coast Guard.
